As of April 10, 2018, Microsoft will be ending Mainstream Support for Dynamics GP 2013. As a result, midyear and year end payroll tax updates will no longer be available for GP 2013 as of that date. Microsoft will also no longer accept regular support cases via Customer Source for GP 2013. While Rimrock will support a client regardless of the version of GP that they are on, having the additional support of Microsoft is helpful especially when it comes to bigger incidents that may fall out of the specialty of our consulting team.
We therefore recommend that all clients that are currently on GP 2013 consider upgrading to GP 2018 within the calendar year. If you use the Canadian Payroll module then we recommend upgrading before June 1, 2018 to minimize the risk around any mid-year payroll tax updates.
